Check Your Office Cleaning Crew - Part I

Your office is more than an address where you go to work, often times it is a large physical representation of your service or product.
That being said the way your office looks to visitors is highly important. Most business people hire office cleaning crews who work after hours to make the place shine.

Unfortunately, not all office maintenance or cleaning crews are the same, some are great while others will do a half way job and hope you never notice. Here are a few things to watch for when checking up on your cleaning crew.

Return Phone Calls
A huge red flag on a cleaning crew is their responsibility in returning your phone calls.
This shows a lack of professionalism and is probably a good indication of their dedication to the job as well. If you cannot reach your office maintenance people it is, time to search for a new crew.

Not Fulfilling the Contract
Your office may not need cleaning every day; however, your crew should show up when they agree to.
If you know or suspect they are not coming in like they said you should immediately fire them and look for new office cleaning personnel.

Bathrooms
One area you may not think too much about is your bathrooms, but do not assume that the only people seeing them are your employees.
Visitors often frequent a business's bathroom and if the area is not spotless, it will reflect badly on your business.
